It was the beginning of "The End" when Jim Morrison & The Doors performed one of the most talked about concerts in rock music history on March 1st, 1969 at the Dinner Key Auditorium in Miami, where he was charged with exposing himself to the crowd of more than 10,000 fans.
This important “Order On Motion to Quash Witness Subpoena” - Court Clerk stamped & notarized for authenticity - was the center piece of the Dade County, Florida case #69-2355 where Morrison was ultimately found guilty of “open profanity” & “indecent exposure” & sentenced to six months in a Florida Prison.
Morrison would flea to Paris, not to return. He passed away on July 3, 1971 in his Paris apartment at age 27, becoming one of the core members of what would become the “27 Club”. A unique piece of rock & roll history.
