The episode follows Kramer and Lloyd Braun's efforts to reopen the Alex Theatre, while an overprotective Kramer tries to keep Lloyd, recently recovered from a mental breakdown, from doubting his own sanity. Wardrobe mishaps make it seem like Lloyd's ex-girlfriend Elaine is coming on to him, Kramer forces Jerry to wear glasses for Lloyd's sake, and an old friend suspects George is going through a mental breakdown himself when she witnesses his apparent obsession with Lloyd and a cashier he claims shortchanged him.


Notes:

- This is the only episode to feature Ruthie Cohen outside of Monk's Cafe, and one of the few times she has a line.

- This is the last onscreen appearance of the show's creator, Larry David. He would, however, voice a few characters until the series' end, including George Steinbrenner.

- The Jon Voight car catching on fire is based on Tom Gammill's car one morning catching on fire.

- In this episode Matt McCoy plays Lloyd Braun, replacing Peter Keleghan who played Lloyd in "The Non-Fat Yogurt."
