This exceptional Apollo 13 Crew Signed Insurance Cover was signed just before the mission as a proxy insurance policy for the crew in case they didn't make it home, due to no insurance companies being willing to cover such a mission. It turned out to nearly be a necessity after an onboard explosion forced the crew to abort their lunar landing and fight for survival.

This insurance cover is boldly signed in black ink by crew members Fred Haise, Ken Mattingly, and twice by Commander James Lovell. PSA has encapsulated the piece with a perfect PSA GEM MINT 10 autograph grade. A PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity is included, along with a crew photo. This piece originates from James Lovell's personal collection, noted & signed on the reverse of the envelope.
