This historically significant letter is boldly signed by Malcolm X in black ink, dated December 11, 1963. Written just days after his controversial “chickens coming home to roost” remarks on President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, the letter reflects Malcolm X’s mindset during his suspension from public speaking by Elijah Muhammad. Typed on his personal Malik Shabazz Islamic stationery, the correspondence was sent to Gloria Owens - sister of Maceo X. Owens, secretary at Muhammad’s Mosque No. 7 in Harlem where Malcolm preached alongside Louis Farrakhan. PSA Authenticated and encapsulated with a PSA NM-MT 8 auto grade, accompanied by a full PSA letter of authenticity.
