Historic four-page agreement dated October 8, 1965, boldly signed by six of NASA’s original Mercury Seven astronauts: M. Scott Carpenter, Leroy G. Cooper, Jr., Virgil I. “Gus” Grissom, Walter M. Schirra, Jr., Alan B. Shepard, Jr., and D. K. Slayton. The document appoints Harry A. Batten as their agent for representing personal story rights related to the Gemini, Apollo, and other NASA space flight projects. Also signed by Batten and the wives of the six astronauts. PSA/DNA has authenticated the piece, which remains in fine condition. A remarkable artifact from America’s pioneering space era, signed by six legendary astronauts who helped shape the history of manned space exploration.

Also included is a typed 1962 letter from Mercury Seven astronaut John Glenn, signed boldly in black ink pen. The letter is typed on NASA letterhead & expresses gratitude for the enthusiasm that the recipient & so many others have shown towards their work. Includes a PSA/DNA certificate of authenticity.
