In 1946, Marilyn Monroe was a fresh-faced 20 year old hopeful starlet who signed her very first contract with 20th Century Fox in July of that year. A few weeks later, on August 26th, 1946, Marilyn signed this document boldly with her full, legal name Norma Jean Dougherty. This document is addressed to 20th Century Fox, discussing payment authorization from her first Hollywood contract to her agency, & captures an early, pivotal moment just before her rise to Hollywood stardom as Marilyn Monroe. Encapsulated with a signature grade of Mint 9 by PSA/DNA, which also includes their Letter of Authenticity.
Please note that the pictures encapsulated with the document are placed on the document with removable acid-free tape. They can be removed at any time without damage to the document, if chosen to do so.
