This hand-written air mail envelope is addressed by Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, to his mother, "U.S.A., Vernon, Texas, Box 982, Mrs. M. Oswald,” adding his Minsk return address and name in Russian to the lower left. The envelope bears Russian postmarks on the front, and a February 23, 1962, Vernon, Texas postmark on the reverse. The envelope bears soft lamination, consistent with other official exhibits that were in the government's possession during the Warren Commission investigation. PSA Encapsulated with a grading of the handwriting as PSA MINT 9. Accompanied by an issue of Time magazine from October 2, 1964.
